“Sacred Spaces” - Thistle Hall, Wellington, New Zealand (2024)
A collaborative, conceptual photographic exhibition with Kobi Maibach.
What is a sacred space? It is a question that means something different for every person. It can be a hallowed place only known to you; somewhere held deep in memories. It is not always a tangible place; you step through an invisible barrier into an inner retreat.
A place that connects you to a community, a safe, familiar space you are drawn to and continuously return to out of spirituality, loyalty or nostalgia. Your connection to your sacred space adapts over time, as you transition through different stages of your life.
You feel comfort and a spiritual connection to your space, and transcend your anxieties to a realm of tranquility.

“Landscapes” - Thistle Hall, Wellington New Zealand (2021)
This photographic & mix medium solo art exhibition at Thistle Hall features the backdrops of many serene and rugged places across Aotearoa; this is with a focus on the insight of what Māori Iwi's would have initially experienced, with an undertone of the destruction and chaos since brought to these lands by Settlers.
“Realms” - Walrus Gallery, New Zealand (2020)
This photographic exhibition was held at Walrus Gallery on Taranaki Street, Wellington. This exhibition focuses on monolithic, almost alien-like objects penetrating a dramatically desolate and beautiful landscape; a mirror-image in grayscale sets the theme for the different realms in which this scene protrudes and contrasts, exploring negative space that the landscape extends into, and how the monoliths live symmetrically in both worlds.
“Unknown Invaders” - Thistle Hall Lightbox (2020)
Unknown Invaders was a month-long art exhibition featured in Thistle Hall’s Lightbox. The focus of the exhibition was to draw the audience’s attention to the beauty and the destruction in the invasive, introduced species of animals and plants that tear through the natural landscapes of Aotearoa.
