Dairy to Dairy.

Dairies are about as Kiwi as they come. They are engrained in Kiwiana culture, and encapsulate us in a state of dream-like childhood nostalgia.
They form and bind core memories every Kiwi kid can reminisce about when they bought lollies from their local dairy with some spare change after school.
Its a sanctuary captured in time; its a place that somehow lies outside of our hectic lives but also ties to our day to day, mostly a place that is taken for granted and yet forms our identity.
From dairy to dairy, we hold them close in our hearts.

Dairy to Dairy risograph-printed, hand-bound photographic book, giving that authentic newspaper texture. The nostalgic photographic collection, by photographer Nate Oakley, takes a nostalgic look into Dairy store culture in Aotearoa New Zealand. Every photograph was taken on medium format film and hand processed. Each book is contained within its own hand-made protective book sleeve.
